ACTORS / SINGERS
We are renowned for our superb mediaeval experiences taking our Guests back in time and to help us continue to provide such a wonderful experience we need experiences actors and singers. If you think you can entertain our guests and be part of a theatrical team you will need to be available most Friday and Saturday evenings with additional evenings leading up to the busy Christmas period.
NIGHT KITCHEN PORTER - Full Time
An experienced night kitchen porter required in our extremely busy and reputable kitchen where commitment, professionalism and the highest possible standards are the norm. As a Night Porter you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and supporting the team in hygiene practices and maintenance of the kitchen. You will ensure standards are at the highest level at all times.
WAITING STAFF – Restaurant – Casual
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our prestigious restaurant for committed and enthusiastic full time and casual waiting staff with outstanding service standards. The successful candidate will have the ability and confidence to serve food, be aware of how each dish is prepared and the ingredients used, developing your knowledge as the menu changes. You will have experience in providing an excellent customer service and also have a flexible approach, as this post will be working across 7 days according to business requirements.
CHEF DE PARTIE - Full Time
An experienced Chef de Partie is required for this prestigious, ‘No Ordinary Hotel’. You will have excellent kitchen skills and be looking to drive your career forward within a hotel that can offer excellent development progression. The position will include providing support to the Head Chef, managing preparation responsibilities and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be working with the finest, freshest ingredients to produce food of the highest standard in a busy hotel environment which also has an excellent reputation for its banqueting facilities.
You will already be working as a Chef de Partie in a good quality hotel or restaurant which features fine dining with an emphasis on using fresh ingredients. You will have had a strong, stable career path and are looking to enhance your career further.
This is a full time position, working 5 days out of seven and will include evenings and weekends.
BAR PERSON - Casual
We are currently looking at recruiting bubbly, ambitious people to add a smile to our bars. Previous bar and customer service experience would be an advantage but personality and motivation are the key ingredients to this role where you will be the face and personality of the bar. Not only will you be able to pour and serve drinks but you will be able to maintain appropriate stock levels, keep equipment in excellent condition whilst displaying a calm presence to enlighten the guests. Due to UK licensing laws candidates must be 18 years of age of over.
BANQUET SALES CO-ORDINATOR (MEDIAEVAL)
We are looking for a No Ordinary enthusiastic sales driven co-ordinator to join our fast paced but friendly sales team. You will possess excellent planning and co-ordination skills together with outstanding communication and problem solving abilities. You will be fully IT conversant and able to promote and describe our products and services articulately to ensure highest possible customer engagement resulting in return business. If you have previous experience of banqueting / event sales within the hotel industry and would like to progress your career in our unique environment please apply using our application form available to download online.
Entry Requirements for all casual roles
All of our positions require someone that is a motivated individual, ideally but not essentially someone who has worked in a similar role within the hospitality industry. As a No Ordinary Team Member it is paramount that you are a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
More importantly, you will have a desire and passion for perfection and want to deliver an exceptional service to our guests. As a team member you will have an excellent eye for detail along with an eagerness to present our highest standards.
Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:

- Good level of English
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- A high standard of personal presentation
- Confident, professional and welcoming personality
- Ability to deal with high profile customers in a professional manner
