All of our positions require someone that is a motivated individual, ideally (but not essentially) someone who has worked in a similar role within the hospitality industry. As a No Ordinary Team Member, it is paramount that you are a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

We are looking for a Training Manager to join our team

You must have experience as a Training Manager, ideally within the hospitality industry.

You must be confident in delivering training to staff at all levels and motivating them to achieve the high standards required on a consistent basis. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have a friendly, approachable manner.

We are looking for a Conference Coordinator to join our busy Sales Team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Conference and Events side of our business. It is essential that the successful candidate ensures that all administration procedures are adhered to and enquiries and bookings are kept up to date on our systems. Candidates must be able to display that they have experience in a similar role in a similar environment.

Reporting in to the Conference Manager candidates will require excellent planning and co-ordination with the ability to communicate on all levels to exceed the expectations of the customer. Applicants must be sales driven and able to work to tight deadlines. Knowledge of the hotel industry is preferable with fully conversant IT skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our room attendants are maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and good order throughout the hotel. You will address any defects in the rooms and oversee that guest supplies are replenished in accordance with daily checks. An important element of the role is to also assist in any way that may be necessary to ensure the efficiency and smooth running of the Housekeeping department. The Supervisor will take instruction from the Head Housekeeper carrying out duties in accordance with the day to day running of the department.

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic experienced Wedding Coordinator to join our established Weddings Team. Applicants will have carried out this role in a similar establishment for at least one year. Candidates will need good communication skills and the ability the get on well with different kinds of people. You’ll also need to have good problem solving skills and be able to keep calm under pressure. This is a target driven role so a background in Sales will be required. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- meeting perspective clients to discuss their requirements and budget
- coming up with creative ideas and themes
- advising on wedding customs or etiquette
- preparing proposals and quotations for the work
- agreeing prices with suppliers such as florists, photographers etc
- making sure couples are kept up to date with wedding plans
- keeping detailed records to make sure that costs stay within budget
- being at the venue on the day of the wedding to make sure that everything goes to plan
- dealing with paperwork, phone calls, emails and letters

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to work at our busy hotel, this role is responsible for ensuring both the hotel and grounds are maintained and all necessary repairs and upkeep is carried out accordingly The successful candidate will ensure that all maintenance requests are dealt with quickly and effectively whilst supporting the existing team . This is a full time position working a 40 hour week.

We are currently looking at recruiting bubbly, ambitious people to add a smile to our bars. Previous bar and customer service experience would be an advantage but personality and motivation are the key ingredients to this role where you will be the face and personality of the bar. Not only will you be able to pour and serve drinks but you will be able to maintain appropriate stock levels, keep equipment in excellent condition whilst displaying a calm presence to enlighten the guests.
