Gunpowder Gala

'Remember remember the fifth of November at the Tale of the Gunpowder Treason and Plot...'

Join us in 1605, a time of Conspiracy and the failed assassination of King James I and the abduction of his daughter from Coombe Abbey to be proclaimed as Queen Elizabeth II.

The Gala includes a four-course feast, red wine and mead as the actors unfold the story of the Gunpowder Treason and the actual danger it presented to the Abbey when the Gunpowder Plot unfolded in 1605.

The evening will be completed whilst watching a spectacular outdoor fireworks display in recognition of historic Coventry and Coombe Abbey Hotel association with the actual Gunpowder Plot.
