We would like to thank everyone at Coombe Abbey for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!

From the moment we woke up everything ran to plan, the staff were all friendly and courteous and couldn't do enough to make our big day go without a hitch! Having trusted Joanne, the Abbeygate was perfect for our wedding ceremony, it was stunning with all the tea lights and flowers. We were very relaxed the morning of the wedding knowing that Joanne and her team had everything organised and under control. The food was delicious and many positive comments were made about the bangers and mash. Friends and family are still talking about the wedding and the venue. It was perfect from start to finish, we couldn't have wished for a more fabulous day. When we returned home we just wanted to do it all again.

Special thanks to Joanne for all her hard work and kind words and to Tony who even the day after our wedding was still running round looking after us making sure that we had everything we needed and most importantly finding the bridal bouquet that we had misplaced the night before.

Our wedding day was everything we expected and more.

Dear Jo,

Well, what can we say?! We just wanted to say a massive thank you for making our day so special! Thanks also for the gift you left in our room, it was really nice of you. We had an amazing time, the venue and staff were just as good as we had anticipated - in fact netter! When I got home and unpacked, there were all the little keepsakes like our table names that had been packed away in the box! I haven't got the photos yet but will send some on - I'm sure we'll be popping in to see you soon! Anyway, we hope you and family are well.

Everyone went out of their way to make our day special. I feel these days people are very quick to complain but thanks seems to go missing. The meal was excellent and so was the service. Hi Katie

Hope your well. We have just returned from a very nice honeymoon and have unfortunately had to get back to the realities of life. I just wanted to say thanks again to you and all of your staff, our day went perfectly to plan, apart from a slight glitch with the weather, however we still managed to get our ceremony on the path, and in
hindsight the wedding breakfast in the high court worked out better than if it had been sunny and outside. The food was very well prepared and tasted great, so a big thumbs up to the chefs and waiting staff. Danielle the events coordinator worked particularly well hard, bending over backwards to help us throughout the day, and was very pleasant and friendly, I'm sure we can't have been the easiest of weddings to organise as ours was very different to the norm and Chantel and I are perfectionists (hopefully we weren't too much of a headache). All in all Coombe Abbey gave us a day that we will never forget. I have had so many comments from both friends and family saying that ours was one of the best weddings they had ever attended.

I am writing to you to say thank you so much for all your hard work in planning and organising our wedding. We could not have asked for a better day and everything went like clockwork and exceeded all our expectations (you even somehow managed to get us a sunny day in the worst summer in history!!) If it was not for your excellent organisational skills we certainly would not have been as calm and relaxed as we were on our wedding day. We knew we had nothing to worry about as you had already confirmed every detail to us so we were confident in the fact that everyone knew what they were doing on the day.

From the outset, we both felt that you knew us personally as you were on top of every change that we made and always had all the facts to hand (whether you are a great note taker or just have a fantastic memory I am not sure, but it works either way!).

All in all we felt that we received a top quality, professional and personal service that made the happiest day of our lives even more special through making sure that we had nothing but good memories of the day. Please could you pass on our thanks to all the team that worked on our wedding day, everyone was wonderful, especially Jayne the technical advisor who handled the Best man's very demanding technical needs effortlessly and to great effect.

I would recommend Coombe to anyone looking for a wedding venue and yourself especially as the coordinator as we could not have asked for a more polite, informed, organised and personable contact.
