Planted and managed over centuries from pre-Capability Brown through to modern day, Coombe Abbey Park has a vast and diverse amount of woodland to explore, the woodland walks offer a sense of adventure for all the family to enjoy.
Feel the history of Coombe Abbey Park woodland as you explore… From the landscape development of Capability Brown, the Formal Gardens and Arboretum of Lady Craven, woodland management during the First and Second World War, and the replanting of the sight lines across the Old Deer Park.
Don’t forget to stop off to see the ducks and swans during your woodland walk. You can purchase a bag of feed (just £1 per bag) at the Visitor Centre and it’s a much healthier option than feeding them bread, which we do not encourage at Coombe Abbey Park.
Ideal for all the family, woodland walks can be enjoyed through the seasons, offering something different whatever the weather.
In partnership with the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, the Discovery Centre has been recently updated to now offer visitors even more ways to learn.
For more information, you can visit us at the Visitor Centre when you arrive which is open every day from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
