Stroll around Coombe Abbey Park

Walk grade: easy, Length: 5.4 miles, Duration: 2 hours Enjoy a gentle walk around Coombe Abbey Country Park, through beautiful woodland with native English trees and giant redwoods, past wooden sculptures and around the impressive Coombe Lake. Why not finish with a trip to the old manor house, now Coombe Abbey Hotel, and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea with freshly made scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam.

Explore Coventry War Memorial park

Walk grade: easy, Length: 1.6 miles, Duration: 30 mins Coventry’s War Memorial park is a fantastic outside space to enjoy with the whole family. The acres of green fields mean it’s a brilliant place for outdoor games with tennis courts, football pitches and also a pitch and putt golf course and putting green. Listen to the birdsong and take in the beautiful floral displays as you walk around the 3 km of walking paths. Cool down in the Splash ‘n’ Play water park afterwards – where the little ones can play in 36 water jets.

Ramble along the Kenilworth to The Pleasance trail

Walk grade: average, Length: 6.7 miles, Duration: 3 hours Take a day to explore Warwickshire’s stunning countryside with this circular walk. Beginning in Kenilworth, enjoy views of the historic old castle before walking through farmland and along the Millennium Way footpath to reach The Pleasance. Explore Stratford-Upon-Avon on foot

Walk grade: easy, Length: 3 miles, Duration 1.5 hours For those who aren’t keen on countryside walks, this short circular route takes you along the River Avon and around the historical city of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Beginning at the Grade 1 listed Clopton Bridge, you’ll pass a variety of fascinating sights such as the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford Butterfly Farm and the Stratford-Upon-Avon Cricket Club before finishing near the racecourse with the option to walk back into the town and explore the attractions.

Walk the Brinklow circuit

Walk grade: moderate, Length: 8 miles, Duration: 3 hours This longer walk begins in the village of Brinklow before passing through farm fields and into the grounds of Coombe Abbey Park. Why not stop off for a light bite or a refreshing drink in our Garden Bar before carrying on with your walk? Head down a bridleway to New Close Wood and follow a bridleway out into the rolling countryside to take you back to Brinklow.
