We’ve always known that there is certain romance around Coombe Abbey Hotel and, over the last few weeks, it has been proven that many others agree with us!
Our special Valentine’s Day meal was sold out weeks before the big day and we had hundreds of couples either dining with us in the evening, enjoying a special afternoon tea or spending the night in one of our feature rooms.
We even had a marriage proposal! Thankfully, it was a ‘yes’ and, of course, we would love the couple to spend their big day with us when they tie the knot.
Anyone who has held a wedding here at Coombe will tell you what a special place it is – whether it’s the history of the building or the amazing grounds that offer the perfect backdrop for photographs that will last a lifetime. You can even have a bouquet made up right here through our on-site florist, Flowers at Coombe!
And when the sun comes out in the spring, couples can even enjoy a gondola ride that brings you right to the hotel door. Venice, eat your heart out!
All of that meant that when new research was published just before Valentine’s Day it showed that we are the most romantic hotel destination in the Midlands region and third overall in the UK – based on feedback on TripAdvisor.
So, love is definitely in the air at Coombe Abbey Hotel and we’re ready to share the romance with you!
