When it comes to spotting flowers in Coventry and Warwickshire, there is an abundance of different flowers for visitors to see. An wonderful array of flowers add the perfect finishing touch to our 500 acres of beautiful gardens, woodland and lakeside walks. Which ones are your favourite?
Coombe Abbey Park are proud of their various awards for quality and excellence, including conversation, visitor experience and Green Flag award.
Wherever you walk, you’ll see splashes of colour from the carefully planted flowers, chosen and designed to fit perfectly with the landscape.
Wildflower meadows are wonderful, but increasingly rare miniature ecosystems, full of different flower and insect species. A sensory experience, wildflower meadows are filled with the sights, smells and sounds of the flora and fauna open from April to September.
What flora can you spot? Look out for: Yellow Rattle, Common Mallow, White Clover, Vetch, Buttercups, Thistles and Wild Primroses to name but a few.
