The Coombe Abbey Park orienteering activity is a permanent fixture within the grounds offering hours of educational fun.
Both adults and children can take part in this enjoyable activity and will gain a basic understanding of map reading including compass work.
On the Coombe Abbey Park orienteering course, everyone is split into small groups to work together around the course.
Available as an activity for KS2 all year round, this is a great activity for pupils to enjoy on a school day out.
Our helpful staff will be happy to assist you with any queries or concerns you may have on your visit. They can also advise on what to see and do in the park that day.
For more information about Coombe Abbey Park orienteering or any other activity, you can visit us at the Visitor Centre when you arrive which is open every day from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
In the Visitor Centre you will find the Discovery Centre, with interactive exhibitions for children, and also the Gift Shop.
You can buy one of our orienteering maps from the Retail and Information Centre, located in the Visitor Centre, for just £1.
