A smaller portion ideal for a light afternoon bite, Monk’s afternoon tea includes warm, freshly baked cheddar and parmesan scones, perfect on their own or topped with butter. A selection of quintessentially British cheeses including cheddar, Wensleydale and blue cheese. A delicious pot of apple and cider chutney and a serving of celery and grapes can be washed down with your choice of loose leaf tea. If you wish to have a mixture of sweet and savoury, Monk’s also offers scones complemented with jam and Cornish clotted cream.

The extensive menu offers finger sandwiches including Croxton Manor cheddar & red onion marmalade and Greenland prawn, smoked salmon, cream cheese & lemon balm, all served on artisan breads. Follow on with a burst of sweet flavour in our raspberry & candied lemon zest dome or tuck into our speciality mini “La Rose”, mango mousse & passion fruit.
