We are really looking forward to welcoming you back to Coombe Abbey.
However, if you’re wondering how to stay safe in a hotel, our team has been working hard to ensure you have everything you need to feel reassured, relaxed and rejuvenated after a trip to Coombe Abbey Hotel.
Although a few things might look a little different around our historical hotel, you can be sure to receive the same great service that makes for a fantastic visit.
We’ve made a few changes to ensure our staff and guests are safe and comfortable, including introducing sanitiser stations and protective screens around the building.
To help talk you through some of the changes, two of our squires are here to ensure you have all the information you need on how to stay safe in a hotel.
A safe stay at Coombe Abbey Hotel
Our friendly team will be taking temperature checks to all guests and staff on arrival and you’ll find new, easy to use self-service check-in terminals to limit your exposure to other people.
You’ll also find a secured sticker on your hotel room door to ensure that since our housekeepers finished your room no one else has entered, this means it’s clean, safe and ready for you to relax.
Looking forward to a delicious breakfast? Rest assured you can still enjoy this on a stay at Coombe Abbey Hotel – please just let us know when you check-in what time you would like to come down for breakfast the next morning to avoid congestion.
Exciting experiences and Afternoon Teas
We know how much you love our Afternoon Tea at Coombe Abbey, so although we have reduced capacity in the Garden Room Restaurant due to social distancing, we have now also opened up our Grand Marquee and West Terrace to host our sumptuous spreads – weather conditions allowing.
Our popular public events will soon be returning as well, in line with government guidelines, and for the adventurous among you Go Ape is still open in our grounds with measures in place to ensure your safety out on the high ropes.
Doing business safely
From October, you’ll be able to book your conference, meeting or event once again in the impressive meeting rooms at Coombe Abbey. We’ve revised the capacity of our rooms to allow for social distancing and our team is working round the clock to ensure everyone is kept safe and is aware of how to stay safe in a hotel.
We ask if you feel unwell or show any symptoms to please contact us to rearrange your booking.
