All guests will need to wear a face mask in all public areas of the hotel until further notice unless you are exempt or you are sat at your table when dining.
Yes, we require all guests to maintain a 2m social distance between other guests. There are floor markers around the hotel to help guide you.
If you have pre-booked your visit, we will have your details on file. We also have QR codes displayed in public areas around the hotel so you can fill out your details via the NHS contact tracing app.
We have implemented a number of changes at the hotel to help make guests feel safe. You can use our self check-in kiosks to minimise contact with staff or you can download our app where you will be able to check-in and use your smartphone as a keycard to your room.
Yes, if your voucher has been purchased directly through us and is due to expire up until March 2021, we will be able to extend it for an additional 6 months.
If you have purchased a special offer voucher that can only be used between January – March 2021, we can extend the special offer voucher for the same corresponding period until the end of May 2021, subject to us re-opening in March.
If you have a voucher from a third party website such as Buy-A-Gift, Red Letter Days or Virgin Experiences then you will need to contact them directly.

Yes, depending on demand and season. You’ll get the cheapest rates the more in advance you book. Our rates also vary depending on the package you book and the room type. You can find out more by clicking here.
Children of any age can stay at the hotel as long as they are accompanied by an adult. An adult is considered to be those aged 18 years and above. We have family rooms that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children.
Our reception is staffed 24 hours a day.

Yes we offer breakfast if have book a bed & breakfast or a dinner, bed & breakfast package. Please note, room only packages do not include breakfast.
If you have received a gift voucher, please let us know when you book a table with us. Please ensure your voucher is still valid and has not expired. You must bring a physical copy of your voucher on the day as a form of payment otherwise full payment may be required. We accept gift vouchers that have been purchased directly through us, Buy-A-Gift, Red Letter Days and Virgin Experiences.
We have a children’s menu for dinner bookings however we do not have a specific children’s afternoon tea menu, we advise 2 children to share one Abbot’s Afternoon Tea.

We can hold a date for up to 7 days before we will need to take a deposit to secure your chosen date.
Our grand Marquee can hold up to 500 guests (without social distancing)
We are able to reserve 10 crown bedchambers and 10 feature bedchambers for your wedding guests at a special rate, subject to availability.
You are not obligated to take all of these rooms and should they not become booked, they will be released 4 weeks prior to your wedding day.

We can accommodate all dietary requirements. We ask that you let us know upon booking so we can cater for your needs.
Yes of course, we take bookings from guests celebrating a birthday, anniversary, stag and hen parties etc. You are welcome to bring decorations however we kindly ask that you do not bring anything that could obstruct the view for other guests such as large balloons.
Our evening events are suitable for those aged 16+ however we do hold festive day events which are suitable for children. More information can be found on the event pages.

We offer free wi-fi throughout the hotel.
Unfortunately we do not allow pets at the hotel.
There is a car park for hotel guests, this is the car park closest to the hotel. There is a charge of £2.00 for up to 8 hours and £5.00 for up to 24 hours.
