COVID-19

From our updated policies to wearing face masks, discover the frequently asked questions about Covid-19.

  • What will happen from 19th July?

    We are pleased to announce that we will be able to host weddings, conferences, functions at capacity. We will also be able to resume our public events which can be booked by clicking here.

    Please note we kindly ask guests to continue wearing face masks throughout the hotel and we continue to operate a cashless environment.

  • What are your COVID-19 policies?

    You can find out more about our safety procedures and protocols by clicking here. 

    We have hand sanitiser stations around the building, there is increased deep cleaning and floor markers to help guide you.

  • Do I need to wear a face mask?

    We kindly ask for all guests to continue to wear a face mask in all public areas of the hotel until further notice unless you are exempt or you are sat at your table when dining.

     

  • Can I pay by cash?

    Unfortunately we are not currently accepting cash as a form of payment and will require guests to pay by card.

  • Do I need to give my details for track & trace?

    Yes, we require all guests to use the track and trace app. We have QR codes displayed in public areas around the hotel so you can fill out your details via the NHS contact tracing app.

  • Can I have a contact-free experience?

    We have implemented a number of changes at the hotel to help make guests feel safe. You can use our self check-in kiosks to minimise contact with staff or you can download our app where you will be able to check-in and use your smartphone as a keycard to your room. Please note if you use the app as your keycard and wish to charge any food or drink to your room, you will need to obtain a keycard from reception.

  • Do I need to maintain social distancing?

    We kindly ask for all guests to maintain social distancing between other guests when visiting us. There are floor markers around the hotel to help guide you.

  • Will you be extending vouchers due to COVID?

    Yes, if your voucher has been purchased directly through us and is due to expire up until May 2021, we will be able to extend it for an additional 6 months until end of November 2021.

    If you have purchased a special offer voucher that can only be used between January – March 2021 or March – May 2021, we can extend the special offer voucher for the same corresponding period until the end of August 2021.

    If you have a voucher from a third party website such as Buy-A-Gift, Red Letter Days or Virgin Experiences then you will need to contact them directly.

  • Is Coombe Abbey Park open?

    Coombe Abbey Park remains open for locals to exercise, we respectfully ask for visitors to comply with safety measures.

    Café In The Park is now available to sit inside for food and beverages however please ensure you pay by card.

    Kiosk In The Park will be operating a takeaway service with a limited menu and contactless payment.

    Please ensure you maintain social distancing and follow safety procedures.
