Luminate , the spectacular mile-long light trail – has returned to Coombe Abbey Park to wow the Coventry and Warwickshire public this winter.

More than 2,000 people descended on the Luminate light trail on its opening weekend, with the historic grounds of Coombe Abbey Park transformed by stunning lighting elements and light play set to ambient music. Billed as a ‘spectacular, illuminated trail, full of wonder and intrigue, to delight and enthral your senses’, the trail features more than 25 interactive exhibits including a talking tree to greet visitors as they enter, and a marshmallow fire pit complete with picnic benches.

The light trail takes around 90 minutes to complete at a relaxed pace, with stewards on hand to guide guests and provide assistance. It will run until Monday, January 2, closing on Christmas Day.

No Ordinary Hospitality Management (NOHM) – the team behind Coombe Abbey Park and the Coombe Abbey Hotel – is offering 10 percent off at the Abbey Artisan Market for customers with Luminate tickets.

The Café in the Park and Kiosk in the Park will also be open as usual to provide refreshments before, during and after guests’ Luminate experience, with street food and drink vendors from Digbeth Dining Club also present throughout Luminate’s residence at Coombe Abbey.

Ron Terry, Group Operations Director at NOHM, said:

“The park has been completely transformed by Luminate, with surprises around every corner creating a unique way for people to get together in the build up to Christmas. It was fantastic to see so many people joining us for the opening weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome even more friends, families and couples to enjoy the incredible visuals and atmosphere that the Luminate team have created.”

Daniel Maycock, Director of Luminate, also said:

“Coombe Abbey Park and the Warwickshire countryside lends itself perfectly to the Luminate experience, and the team is thrilled to be back after a successful debut last year. This trail is longer than the previous year’s, which means we have been able to create an even more immersive experience with more stunning visual set pieces to take in. The initial feedback we have had has been brilliant, and we are looking forward to working alongside NOHM and Coombe Abbey to continue making memorable, magical experiences throughout our stay.”

Tickets must be pre-booked online in advance. For more information visit the Luminate website here.
