Our private Christmas Parties
What better setting than a medieval banquet hall or a magnificent marquee? Our one-of-a-kind private rooms, housing 10-500 guests, make an unforgettable Christmas party venue.
Private parties are available throughout December and include exclusive access to a chosen historic function room.
Each guest will receive:
- A drink on arrival
- A set three-course meal
- Half a bottle of wine
Plus a disco and dancefloor to shake off the work day.
For smaller groups, your team can enjoy drinks, canapés, and a 3-course meal courtesy of our Occasions Package. Email christmas@coombeabbey.com to arrange the perfect private event.

Just let us know: our in-house florist can create bespoke bouquets to be delivered to your event or to be placed in guests bedchambers.

Party Nights at Coombe with Free Radio’s JD
At Coombe, we’re getting jolly with Party Nights in our festive Marquee, hosted by JD of The JD & Roisin Free Radio Show.
You’ll be greeted with fizz on arrival, then enjoy a three-course dinner and spend a night rubbing shoulders with fire breathers and carol singers. Ending with a silent disco!
Festive Murder Mystery
It’s 1946, and we’re throwing the biggest Christmas party Coombe has ever seen to welcome “Our Boys” home from the war. But there’s just one hiccup – there’s been a murder…
Who’s behind it? Join us for a night of live entertainment and a three-course meal as you solve the mystery. Then, the party’s back on track!
Festive Mediaeval Banquet
The King has claimed the Abbey and thrown open the doors for all to enjoy a Christmas feast. There’s fun, feasting, and festive celebration on the cards!
You’ll be greeted with a glass of mead on arrival, then enjoy the four-course banquet. Baron’s Broth, anyone?
With a goblet in hand, you’ll go on to party like it’s 1539 in your best smart or mediaeval attire.
Gatsby Ball
Nothing says glamour like a Gatsby Ball.
This sophisticated night is perfectly spent with friends, family, or colleagues. Get on your gladrags for:
