Afternoon tea at our Garden Room Restaurant is a delight not to be missed. A wonderful British tradition, we have three different offerings, all served with a mouth-watering selection of fresh sandwiches, cakes, pastries and plump, freshly baked scones served with whipped clotted cream and preserves. Choose from our traditional Abbot’s Afternoon Tea served with loose leaf tea of your choice, Knight’s Afternoon Tea with added sweet treats and Coombe Ale or our latest decadent twist on afternoon tea… the Hendrick’s Gin Pot Afternoon Tea that features G&T favourites such as Fever Tree Tonic, Naturally Light, Mediterranean and Elderflower Tonic from our classic Hendrick’s Gin Pot.
For that special occasion, our private dining experience is truly exceptional. Whether you want to get together with close friends to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or family gathering, our exclusively prepared carvery with all the traditional accompaniments such as Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables, duck fat roast potatoes and beef gravy followed by sharing desserts is perfect. From just £42 per person for a minimum of ten adults to a maximum of 26 (subject to availability).
For fine dining with a difference, try our A La Carte menu. Perfect for an evening out for two, with family or friends, our seasonal menu offers a variety of delicious options that includes aged fillet steak on the bone, fish and vegetarian options. We can also cater for special dietary requirements on request.
All our desserts are created and prepared by our chefs who delight in presenting a wonderful selection of truly tempting sweet treats. Recent delights include dark chocolate tart, buffalo ricotta and chocolate cake to a range of petit four served with coffee. Or, if you prefer a cheese board, our selection of cheeses includes a wonderful selection such as Cashel Blue and Ashlynn.
For a more relaxed option, escape to our Garden Bar, whether you’re looking for drinks with friends after work or an evening meet up with a light bites, this is the ideal place to unwind and catch up. Snacks range from side orders of beer battered onion rings, small plates such as crispy tempura scampi and Westcombe mature farmhouse cheddar with sticky pickle sandwiches. There’s also large plates featuring tempting spreads such as coconut, chilli and prawn curry and overnight slow-cooked flaked lamb shank and tomato ragù…delicious!
