As part of the educational offering, schools can visit Coombe Abbey Park to participate in pond dipping in Coventry and Warwickshire. Great fun for all, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to learn about different habitats and interesting creatures living in the ponds.
Children should bring along a clean bucket or an empty tub and a fishing net or, visit our gift shop to purchase your pond dipping essentials.
There are dedicated educational pond dipping sessions at Coombe Abbey Park for school groups, offering a fun and informative trip. Please contact us for more information.
Children might find water scorpions, water stick insects, dragonfly larvae, water boatman, diving beetles, water fleas, leaches, hog louse, snails and more in our ponds.
Our helpful staff will be happy to assist you with any queries or concerns you may have before or during your visit. They can also advise on what else you can see and do in the park that day.
