A sense of adventure

Planted and managed over centuries from pre-Capability Brown through to modern day, Coombe Abbey Park has a vast and diverse amount of woodland to explore, and our woodland walks offer a sense of adventure for all the family to enjoy.

Historical woodland

Feel the history of our Coombe Abbey Park woodland as you explore… From the landscape development of Capability Brown, the Formal Gardens and Arboretum of Lady Craven, woodland management during the First and Second World War, and the replanting of the sight lines across the Old Deer Park.

Feed the birds

Don’t forget to stop off to see our ducks and swans during your woodland walk. You can purchase a bag of feed (just £1 per bag) at our Visitor Centre and it’s a much healthier option than feeding them bread, which we do not encourage at Coombe Abbey Park.

A fun day out for all the family

Ideal for all the family, our woodland walks can be enjoyed through the seasons, offering something different whatever the weather.

Friendly team

In partnership with the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, our Discovery Centre has been recently updated to now offer visitors even more ways to learn.
